About this Course

A St. John Ambulance Babysitting Course, developed for youth ages 11 – 14. This course provides New Babysitters with the necessary skills to care for children in a variety of situations. This course focuses on: Safety rules; Responding to Emergencies; Development of Leadership Skills; Caring for Infants, Toddlers and School aged children; healthy meals, safe play, diapers, bedtime routines; Caring for a sick or injured child; Prevention and basic First Aid including Choking, CPR, Head Injuries, Poisonings, Burns, Diapering, Feeding and much more. Please bring a doll or stuffed animal to practice on. Please arrive on-time at 9:00am. There will be breaks for snacks and Lunch (please bring your own peanut-free snacks and lunch).
